The Charlotte Knights are hosting their annual job fair at Knights Stadium on Monday, February 20 and Thursday, March 8. Both sessions will run from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and candidates only need to attend one session in order to be considered for an open position. The Knights are in search of hard-working game day employees for the 2012 season in a number of areas, including: ushers, parking, ticket takers, Kids Club attendants, box office ticket sellers, restaurant servers, concession cashiers, warehouse runners, prep cooks, and more. A rockslide near the North Carolina-Tennessee border has closed Interstate 40. The same thing happened in late October 2009, and the eastbound lanes of I-40 were closed at the border for more than six months. This time, it's the westbound lanes, but N.C. officials say the latest road-closing rockslide will impact traffic for about two weeks.
