Where Charlotte Lands Among Best Big Cities To Live

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Yet another study is out that reinforces Charlotte’s reputation as one of the most desirable U.S. cities in which to live.

WalletHub, which ranks everything from best beer cities to best places to get a job, recently released its ranking of the top big cities to in which to live in the U.S.

To determine the best and worst large cities to live in, WalletHub compared a sample of 62 U.S. cities (with populations of more than 300,000 each) across five key dimensions: Affordability; Economy; Education & Health; Quality of Life; and Safety. Into those five dimensions were funneled 56 “indicators of attractiveness,” which included quality of public schools, life expectancy, job opportunities and property taxes.

Charlotte comes in at No. 22 overall.
